Trip 027 - Blackhead to Brighton

The Otago Tramping Club called the beach between Blackhead and Brighton ‘Green Island Beach’, and this featured in several variations of trips, often longer than just the beach.

This trip will have a look around the Blackhead rocks, before heading off along the beach towards Brighton. Low tide is at 3.30pm, as this an afternoon trip we should have no difficulty crossing the Kaikorai Estuary.
