TRIP GRADE: Moderate (5-7 hrs)

The Silver Peaks has several high points, which all offer different perspectives and vistas. Amongst these are four named high points (Hightop, Green Hill, Pulpit Rock & Silver Peak), as well as two spot heights (588m on the Greengage Track, and 767m with the trig, to the east of Silver Peak).
The plan for this trip is to visit all of the above highpoints, with the further 700m+ highpoint between Pulpit Rock and Silver Peak thrown in to make Seven Summits in total. Most of these have tracks up them, a couple require a short traverse off-track.
The club has visited the tops of the Silver Peaks for all of our 100 Years, starting with the first club trip to Silver Peak (which may actually have been Pulpit Rock) during Labour Weekend 1923. There have been various versions of this trip run over the years, including the more popular ‘Three Peaks’ (Pulpit, Silver Peak and 767m with the trig).
