Trip 066 - Taieri Mouth Track

The first OTC trip between Waihola and Taieri Mouth was in April 1928. This trip took the 9.09am train to Waihola, and when they got to Taieri Mouth they boated back up-river to Titri.

The Otago Regional Council opened the Taieri River Track in 2001 to celebrate the Millennium, and the first OTMC trip headed along the track in 2002.

This trip is an easy walk, starting from Taieri Mouth and going as far as John Bull Gully and return.
