The first club publication was titled 'Outddors', and was published in September 1934. During the 1940's Outdoors became an annual journal, and contained a collection of trip reports, and from time to time additional items such as club history and significant current projects, such as the building of the original Jubilee Hut.

Promotion of upcoming meetings and trips shifted to the monthly Bulletin, many of which can be viewed on the OTMC website. The electronic age has now caught up with the Bulletin again recently, with the promotion of upcoming events now being covered by an email based weekly update - this has led to the Bulletin now containing trip reports and selected other information. The last Outdoors was published for the 90th Anniversary in 2013.
